Esterno NosKasaNos Kasa, which in Cape Verdean Creole means "Our House", is located in the old centre of the town of Sal Rei, overlooking the tourist port and a stone's throw from the traditional fish market. It's a typical Cape Verde house, completely refurbished in 2015 while retaining all its original structures and colours in full respect for tradition and its surroundings.

The house occupies three floors. The ground floor is the heart of the house, with the "quintal" courtyard, typical of Cape Verde houses. The quintal gives access to the breakfast room, where you'll find a small library of books in many languages; here guests can exchange their books.

The "Garopa" room is also on the ground floor, and is accessed separately from the other rooms.

On the first floor are the "Shareo" and "Wahoo" rooms, both with terraces overlooking the sea. On the second and final floor, the right-hand side of the terrace leads to the "Dorada" room, while the left leads to the shared terrace where guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the sunset, the old town of Sal Rei, the little fishing port and the gorgeous island of Djeu.

All this makes Nos Kasa an excellent choice for those who prefer not to be closed inside a tourist resort far away from the town, but seek a genuine holiday in o local setting among the native people in complete relaxation, lulled by the island's gentle rhythms.

A short walk through the streets of the old town takes you to the central square, where there are all kinds of shops, bars and restaurants. Behind the square stretches the beautiful Estoril beach, where the sea is always crystal-clear and the water warm and calm, thanks to the Djeu island, which acts as a natural breakwater, creating a fabulous lagoon, perfect for wonderful days of sun and sea on the white sand of the open beach or the beach resorts.
